HOP HOUSE, Alabama – Dan Schnantz and his team are on a mission to bring the classic, hoop-house aesthetic to the desert.
The first of four Hoop House locations will open in 2019, with the rest in 2020.
The owners of HoopHouse.com, the California-based Hoophouse Barbecue chain, say the new Hoop Houses will offer a fresh, rustic, and classic dining experience.
“It’s really exciting to be able to bring this classic American cuisine to our community,” said Dan Schnotz, owner of Hoppas.com.
“I want to give back to the community and create a place that’s truly unique and delicious.
It’s been really fulfilling to get people excited about this place.”
In the meantime, the restaurant will also be open for business with food trucks, a new outdoor dining area and an indoor area for patio seating.
The restaurant is part of a $1 million expansion that includes the Hoop house in Huntsville, Alabama, and the newly opened Greenhouse Restaurant in El Paso, Texas.
It is unclear when the rest of the Hopphouse brand will open.
